Edible Origami Grasshopper and Locusts for Knorr Social Media Campaign
The "Dare to Try" campaign worked with various creators on TikTok and other platforms to promote tasty and sustainable ways of eating, emphasising that dishes can be delicious while also including little explored ingredients that represent more sustainable food choices - for this case, insects!
In the campaign, 11 content creators came together to play a game of Truth of Dare, where Knorr shared the truth about the effects of food production and consumption on our ecosystems, including how the food system is responsible for more than a third of all greenhouse gas emissions.

Low poly origami style 9ft high replica of UK’s oldest amateur footballer with Stannah Stairlifts
Stannah Stairlifts commissioned us to create this huge replica of Dickie Borthwick, the self-acclaimed oldest amateur footballer in the UK, to celebrate older age with its freedom to uniquely express one’s truest self.
After meeting Dickie in person we constructed a digital 3D model which we then used to create this 9ft paper replica, with internal superstructure for strength and rigidity.
We then transported the sculpture to London’s Primrose Hill for a 6 am shoot, wired to news channels by noon the same day – a very exciting and high-energy project!

Origami dinosaurs with Luno cryptocurrency trading platform
As part of their “Currency isn’t Forever” campaign, we designed and folded the unique origami Dinosaurs from “soon-to-be-extinct” notes including the Euro, Dollar and South African Rand.
We also created the simple to fold “Lunosaur” Raptor model and worked with the production team to create a simple stop-frame animation of the dinosaur being folded.
Though it’s becoming increasingly difficult with the advance of polymer notes, folding origami from banknotes is always a very effective way of telling a story and leads to colourful and attractive pieces

Time Out magazine front cover and feature models – recycling around London
We were commissioned to design and create this imaginative front cover for an August edition of London’s famous Timeout Listings magazine, with all the models folded from editions of the iconic publication going back over 50 years!
With a frighteningly tight deadline before going to press we presented a range of options of models to illustrate how Londoners can best recycle, reduce and reuse in our great City.
We then created the various models, including the “Mag for Life” cover and a feature piece made up of key London landmarks from 50 years of Timeout listings.

Head and Shoulders 3 Action Formula bespoke origami press release
We were commissioned by Ketchum PR to design and produce these bespoke Origami press releases for the launch of Head and Shoulders’ latest offering – the 3 Action formula.
The Paper Flower model took inspiration from the product’s artwork and used a small hidden magnetic clasp to inventively contain the thoughtfully presented press release copy which was printed and cut from high-quality GF Smith stock.
Presented in quality white gift boxes with a bow to match the Head & Shoulders brand, the models were sent to key bloggers in advance of the product launch.

Original origami design for Saudi Aramco film with The Edge Picture Company
We worked closely with the team at Edge Pictures to design and produce these original origami models that featured in a corporate film for Saudi Aramco.
We also worked on the shoot day as Origami consultant to replicate a Japanese Origami Studio in a Battersea apartment.
The models were brought to life by the amazing team at Spotpost.

"The World In" Origami Commission for The Economist
We created a range of original Origami models for The Economist’s annual publication, “The World In”.
The models included an Editor’s typewriter, a replica of the Capitol Building, and a classic video camera amongst others which each represented one of the key contributors to the edition.
The final models were sent out to the contributors in special gift boxes and were a great addition to this fascinating publication.

Origami Style Papercraft Fabergé Eggs for Easter Campaign with Aldi Supermarkets
This was a fascinating project which brought together a lot of my passions around Origami and Papercraft - from the start I had to understand the client's brief and make sure it was achievable - to create over 100 x Origami style paper Eggs, which would each house a range of special Aldi premium range Easter goodies, to be delivered by hand, on a red cushion, by a real butler to a number of key online influences across the UK and overseas.
And of course, like any good egg of this sort, it had to include a lock and key, which had to work!
Once I had worked out a plan of action, budget and draft timeline I draw together a team of extra hands, got hold of a larger digital paper cutter (fantastic upgrade!) and jumped onto the design process.

1000x paper origami style trainers for Asics OnitsukaTiger brand anniversary campaign
We were commissioned to design and then produce 1000 of these cute paper trainers to mark a key anniversary for Japanese brand ASICS Onitsuka Tiger – the models were sent out to key journalists and influencers as part of a direct mail campaign.
We have extensive experience in large-scale production projects like this, producing several hundred/thousand of a certain model often within tight deadlines, drawing together teams of experienced paper artists to get the job done with quality.
Get in touch if there’s a large production you need and we’ll discuss how we can make it work for you.

Origami hearts for instore activation with Rituals Cosmetics
This unique origami heart greeting card was designed, along with the matching suspended heart units, in line with the artwork from Rituals Cosmetics’ Valentine Campaign.
We folded the hearts in stores around the UK and offered them as free gifts to customers, engaging with the Rituals brand concept of storytelling and exceptional customer experience.

Low poly origami style foxes for visual merchandising in stores across the UK
We were commissioned to create these characterful foxes for a top-quality clothing brand for use in-store windows and visual merchandising VM.
We used an involved workflow with a combination of 3D programs, and eventually produced the life-size models from card printed inhouse to match the clients’ brand colour and then hand assembled and delivered with love!
This is a style that is very effective in shop windows and we’d be excited to talk more about working with you to develop more projects with a similar technique.

Origami roses, lotus flowers, and lilies for Darphin Paris instore visual merchandising
These Origami flowers were created for installation at the Ruuby store off London’s Oxford Street where several Esteé Lauder Company brands are showcased.
To capture the spirit of Darphin Paris we carefully folded these flowers from a quality off-white stock giving a luxurious and extravagant feel to the display.
As well as the larger models we designed a range of smaller blooms which were placed in bell jars by the products.

Matisse and Contemporary Paper Artists – Rheged Gallery, Penrith
I was delighted to be invited to make two original pieces for the Summer Show at the Rheged Centre, Penrith – a group show of 40 leading Paper Artists alongside the Hayward Gallery Touring Show of Matisse’s late works, “Drawing with Scissors”
My two pieces, Phyllotaxis 2.1 and Tetrataxis are both inspired by the Fibonacci sequence often found in nature which gives the pieces a mesmerising, almost hypnotic effect.
It had been an ambition of about 6 years to work out how to construct a piece like Phyllotaxis 2.1 which is built from over 750 individually folded paper pyramids painstakingly assembled on a 120cm backboard in a precise and mathematically defined order.
The invitation to make these works for the show came in the perfect time as I am finally, after almost 20 years in the commercial space, giving myself more time to work on my own art practice.

Feel free to reach out if you’re interested in prints/commissioned work in this style.
